So I know we’ve totally been posting a lot of photos of us lately, but we just had to post these awesomely amazing photos from the incredible Erica J! Baby Brother is coming Monday so we needed to sneak these maternity photos up on the blog before then.
A huge thanks to the hugely talented Erica from Erica J Photography for taking these beautiful images. You’re awesome and we love ya!
So we pretty much loved photographing these two! They are in the running for the sweetest couple we’ve ever photographed. And not in the sticky sweet way but in the real good way. The kind that makes you smile when you see them together. And we’ve known them for a long time so we were pretty excited and very honored when they asked us to photograph their wedding.
And I just gotta say they had the most tear worthy first look we ever have photographed. Tender. Sweet. Romantic. That sums it up!
Wow! I am insanely blessed. This is something I’m reminded of every day and probably about every hour of the day. And regardless if I’m thinking about my blessings (hard to do when you have a work deadline, are fighting a migraine, and your little girl is demanding your attention) I’m still very blessed.
And, of course, since today is Thanksgiving I’m taking a little time to think about my blessings. It’s a day set aside for that. And yeah sure we eat a lot, play games, laugh with friends and family, snuggle by a fire, etc. but it really is mostly about recognizing the good in our lives.
Good things like my beautiful and comfortable house
A marriage where we love and enjoy each other in spite of imperfections
A country where even though we have our rough edges affords us so many amazing freedoms
A family that I’m about to head out the door to spend a very enjoyable time with
An amazing little girl named Eva who has brought untold happiness and joy to Jolie and I
Family that is traveling literally across the country to be with us for a very special event…
…the event of course which is the birth of our son (only 11 more days!)
our health, plenty to eat, an enjoyable hobby/business, clothing, etc. etc.
But take all that away, every last bit of it. And I would be devastated…but still blessed! Because I have a savior, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for my sins and whom I have given my life to.
And that is the true meaning and spirit of Thanksgiving.
Say hello to Kara and Nick, our new friends and huge UF fans!
We are very excited for you all to see their wedding cause Kara shared with us her inspiration board which was totally up our alley. And Kara is an amazeballs graphic designer so her inspiration board was super fly.But their wedding isn’t for several months so their super cute engagement session will just have to suffice!
We did their shoot at a spot special to them, historic downtown Stuart, a gem on south Florida’s crowded coastline. You really should check it out sometime. Cause the spot was special and they are special it was as easy as pulling daisies (this is easy to do) to take their photos.
